@ play b3yond: The laser designator can ONLY destroy vehicles, with a bomb (which you can sterr when it falls from the sky)...and ONLY if you scan them for about 6 seconds!?! (so the vehicle should stand still...or atleast drive/move very slow) which is nearly impossible.
and if it moves you have to immitate the movement of the vehicle (i mean: you just have to follow the Tank or Humvee with the Laser) or the scan bar goes down...so...THIS PIECE OF $HIT IS COMPLETELY USELESS!!!...but t...
hmmmm....i think PhysX (by Aegeia...dont know if spelled right) and Havok are two different products by two different brands
But PhysX belongs now to Nvidia (thats right)
and AMD is now getting Havoc (which is a good thing)

The graphics dont look THAT impressive to me (i know its Konami...and they dont focus so much on graphics) but...come on...EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE who has a PS3 comes with the "graphics" argument.

I´ve seen some really cool videos from 8 days and i dont know if it was gameplay but it looked really cool (the scene where he jumped over a car and is running into a bar or a cafe near a gas station)
and Getaway...i just played the first one and it was ok (not the graphics they promised and the cars were not so easy to steer) but it was actually a really entertaining game.

Unchrted Looks great!!! no doubt...but i never played it (so no statement from me) and the textures are what you expect from a Current Gen title.

OK this game looks REALLY good (ive seen some vids back in the day...and i hope it turns out good) but did you notice that there are no bump maps (or specular maps) in the whole game??? maybe the pics dont show it right but i dont see them (like in CoD4...where all textures have a good resolution and everything but look a little bit flat) but the rest is very impressive (no Aliasing...high poly count...and i noticed some really nice light and lens flare effects in some Gametrai...

onboard sound is so awfull...
A proper Soundcard is ALWAYS better. (as you said) it takes some processing power and disburdens the mainboard at once.
Not to mention the Effects like EAX4&5 and X-fi Crystalizer and so on...

I REALLY LOVED the first one on the N64 (i think it will stay in my memory FOREVER!!!)...BUT did anyone of you read the article!?! The vehicles are maybe an online multiplayer thing 8and are rarely used in singleplayer) and as the guy said in the article it is a really nice idea to what little big planet is doing. In LBP you can create your own level and here in BK:BN you can make hundreds of Vehicles (like with LEGO)

the ATI RADEON HD 3850 is not that bad. In a test of 50 GFX cards it has made place 10 and 13 (first place is the ATI RADEON HD 3870 X2 and last place a Nvidia Gforce 7300 GS) It still manages 112 frames in HALF LIFE LOST COAST with 4x AntiAliasing and 8x AnisotropicFiltering at a resolution of 1600x1200 and the price is about 240 Dollars (the price for a 3870 is about the same and a 3870 X2 costs about 490 $ ) if i had the money i would buy it (maybe) but then think that would be a lot of ga...
the truth is....sony just wanted to release a console that is pushing their Blu-ray format...and microsoft just wants to rip off as much money as they can from you with DLC (and that works verry well right now)...so why should they stop???...they are manufacturing faulty consoles and everyone buys it!!!...so why should they fix them???
